NOT IMPRESSED.

Occasionally we get comments from people who were expecting their float to be earth shattering. Which makes total sense, based on our reviews. The first float is often life changing for many people, but sometimes it's not. Which is ok.

I've been floating 10+ years. And I'm still learning more about float therapy and my body/mind every time.

My response to this particular comment was that float therapy isn't meant to be impressive.

It's literally you floating effortlessly in a near zero gravity magnesium float solution, practicing stillness on many levels.

How is that supposed to be impressive?

Your brain might feel bored without constant stimulation, which is a GOOD THING.

Saying you're not impressed with float therapy after 1 float is like going to the gym once and being disappointed you didn't lose 50 pounds or grow huge biceps.

Many people come in extremely skeptical, expecting they won't be able to relax...and they leave very surprised because they relaxed more than they thought.

The benefits of float therapy happen 100% of the time.

Whether you notice them or not depends on what your expectations are, how in tune with your body you are, and how much pain/stress/anxiety/insomnia you have.

Float therapy is an extremely important tool for healing. You can choose to use it for your own growth and healing, or not. ~Aaralyn, Owner

Short story time! We once had a woman drink a Red Bull before her float. We found out when she got out a little early, because her mind was racing and she was bouncing off the walls. 😅

Before your float, we send a list of tips designed to optimize your float experience. No caffeine at least 3 hours before your float is one of them!

And that's why. Caffeine is a stimulant and encourages the opposite of what you're trying to achieve with float therapy!

Along the way, we've had a few others have the same experience after having caffeine before their float, so please try to avoid it so your brain has the best chance to relax!

Simone is a freaking rockstar who uses float therapy to help manage symptoms from MS (multiple sclerosis).

She texted us 5 minutes ago that after her float yesterday, she's in less pain and slept so good!

We were also informed that it was World MS Day today, and THAT is why you're seeing Simone's lovely face on your feed today.

Many of our clients come to FloatQC having tried everything else under the sun for their chronic pain. Float therapy for them is often life changing.

If you've been wanting to try it, now is the perfect time.
