Late and Long post….My client relocated back to Chicago from Louisiana. Moving her son to an environment that he has never known. Knowing how scary that could be, she allowed him to be apart of every showing. So that he would be comfortable with his new home and community. When he came to town after the contract was executed, right before closing, the sellers agent allowed me to bring him to his future home. When he walked in he began pointing out where his game room would be and how he would decorate it. He said he was putting a snack cart and mini-fridge in it. So, I asked mom to give me a list of his favorite snacks so that I could make him a “snack bar”. At closing, I gave him his snack bar and this was his reaction. The biggest hug I could have imagined. He was so excited and appreciative, he began to cry.
My point is…..Walking through the home buying process with a family is more than just a sale. It’s a message to families that there is someone in this world/community that cares about them. 🤩🤗❤️
