A three hour eclipse of the Son gathered less attention than a few minutes of an eclipse of the sun. Unlike the eclipse of the sun, the eclipse of the Son happens regularly. The first has limited consequence while the latter has eternal consequence.
"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him"(John 3:36).
