Janet Lancaster History Center Challenge Match
The Modesto Art Museum will match a total of $5,000 in donations for the Janet Lancaster History Center at the McHenry Museum. All donations, big or small, are welcome. This is your chance to double your money and do something wonderful for Modesto. Janet Lancaster was an incredible woman with an encyclopedic knowledge of local history. She was a volunteer archivist for years helping hundreds of families and organizations uncover their stories. The new history center will honor her work and make resources available for future generations.
