Meet Our Featured Artist: Pam Moreno!
This Thursday, May 21st from 5–8 PM, Provident Care is proud to open our doors at 915 14th Street for the Modesto Art Walk. And we are absolutely thrilled to feature the stunning work of Pam Moreno, one of Modesto's own.
Pam is a fine art painter with a gift for finding beauty where others might overlook it from quiet scenes in nature to the vibrant, colorful world just beneath the surface of everyday life. Her paintings don't just hang on a wall, they pull you in and make you feel something.
Come experience her work in person, say hello, and enjoy a night of art, community, and creativity right here in Downtown Modesto!

Hoyer lift transfers can be daunting for an immobile senior…
In this photo, one of our caregivers is practicing proper Hoyer lift techniques. One of the most important, and often most intimidating, pieces of equipment used in home care.
For many seniors, being lifted from a bed to a wheelchair or into a bath, can feel vulnerable and uncomfortable. A well trained caregiver doesn’t just know how to operate the equipment safely. They know how to communicate calmly, protect dignity, and make the client feel secure throughout the entire process.
At Provident Care, training is not something we check off once and forget about.
Before our caregivers ever step into a client’s home, they go through hands-on pre-employment skills testing and real world care training inside our office training lab. From transfers and fall prevention to dementia care and mobility assistance, we want our team prepared for the moments that matter most.
Because in home care, “good enough” training simply isn’t good enough.
