On maternity leave but not forgetting about all of you beautiful clients 🥰 I will be returning to work in the middle of February. I already have some of my curly clients scheduled for my return, because you are the ones who are neglected while I’m out (sorry guys 🙁) but I will be reaching out to schedule the rest of you sometime in January. Are you cleansing your curls correctly⁉️⁣

Use cool water🚿 hot water will dry out your hair more and create extra frizz.🙅🏼‍♀️⁣

Shampoo is applied at the scalp only 💆🏼‍♀️⁣
No need🚫 to apply shampoo to our already dry ends, the cleansing agents from the shampoo will do enough when you’re rinsing.⁣

Apply conditioner mids to ends, section by section and detangle with your fingers🖐🏻 This will help to set your curl pattern and eliminate frizz. Don’t apply conditioner directly to the scalp— it will make you oily and weigh your hair down. ⁣

Rinse out MOST of conditioner, leaving a little bit at the ends for extra hydration (not ideal for fine hair). 🧖🏼‍♀️⁣

Apply your styling product on saturated hair, scrunch out the extra moisture using microfiber towel or cotton t-shirt, and go!👏🏻
