from your idea we create a sketch, then a wax cast of your ring. The wax cast phase is a good time make any adjustments to the ring before it's poured into your desired metal material. This is also a great time to "play" with different sizes of stones to see what fits best maybe you originally envisioned a 1.25 carat center stone and now see your ring will be better suited for a 2 carat center stone.
