It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that after nearly 13 years, Preservation will be closing next week on December 30th. To our beloved customers, it has been an honor to serve you for over a decade in downtown Modesto. Thank you for supporting us and more importantly, thank you for your friendship. So many of you have gone out of your way to make us feel loved and we have been absolutely humbled by your kindness. We hope we have had even a fraction of the impact you’ve had on us ❤️

To our Preservation staff, both past and present: you were the heartbeat of this cafe and made Pres what it was, always. We are incredibly proud of all the passionate baristas who have cared greatly about our cafe and more importantly, our downtown community. It has been so beautiful to see the culture and community shape around every individual who has worked with us, you all have brought so much to our little shop and we could never repay you. Please know that all of your hard work, time and effort has not gone unseen or unappreciated. So whether you worked with us for years, months or just a few weeks… thank you.
