The Library Foundation’s 2024 Author Spotlight is focused on California poet laureate, Lee Herrick. Tickets for the drive-through event include a gourmet take-home meal provided by Papapavlo's and an autographed copy of Lee’s new book. (209) 523-9083

Yesterday was truly inspirational! 🤩 Susan Thomas, and Jane Manley attended the reception and reading to honor the new Stanislaus Youth Poet Laureate, Zoe Byron from Oakdale, and bid a fond farewell to our inaugural laureate, Faith Delgado of Turlock. Congratulations Zoe, we can't wait to see the amazing things you do this year! 🥳

The Youth Poet Laureate program is a partnership among the Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center, Stanislaus County Library, Stanislaus County Office of Education, and the Stanislaus Library Foundation. An example of the wonderful things that can happen when community groups work together to empower others!

Our appearance at the Modesto Certified Farmers Market on Saturday was a hit! We got to share our love for the library and all they have to offer. 🥰📚
