Hobby Potter - Pottery Making & Ceramics

I'm a little nervous about this big bowl! After trying to put a clear coat on it, I realized it was not accepting the glaze well. It may be a bad batch of reclaim clay! (Thought it was my old stoneware, but now I'm not sure). This bowl took my a VERY long time to do...a very long time. It's now in the kiln, will let you know if this baby makes.... Or runs my kiln! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

PS. I just looked at the picture more closely I realized there's actually more to it than in this photo so I can't wait to see if it turns out.

How do I design on my pottery?? I love using underglaze to design with, and I also really love that it doesn't take a whole lot of tools for me to put designs in place... The creativity is endless!!!. It makes sure everything is unique and one of a kind... So much fun!!
