ATTENTION

SCOE & CSEA Classified employees,

I wanted to reach out to all of you as you may have already received a notice in the mail. It is from the Freedom Organization and they are false advertising that you are being forced to pay and support the Union. The mailer is a letter and at the bottom of it is what looks like a check to you from Stanislaus County Office of Education for $800.00. Please DO NOt be fooled by this organization. No employee pays anywhere near this amount of money a year to CSEA for union dues.

I have had employees bring to me this letter and have been very confused thinking that they are to endorse this falsified check thinking that they would receive the $800.00. If you have any questions about what you pay into your CSEA Union dues, you can contact me or SCOE H/R payroll and they can tell you what amount you pay in annually. These monies that you pay go towards Labor Representation for disciplinary action, benefits towards discounts at many attractions for your families, and many more things. CSEA Humanitarian fund also is there to assist members in need of financial assistance with Mortgages, utilities, any other issues. If you are a paying dues member, you can access all of these benefits.

I have attached a copy of the mailer you may receive if you haven't already. Reach out to your local chapter #668 Board member if you have any questions.
