Sara Sacks and Edgar Garibay from the Tuolumne River Trust run students through a water quality monitoring station. They are recording water temperature and running tests on dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity and phosphate levels — all of which can greatly affect living conditions of all fish, especially young chinook salmon.
