TUESDAY TIP:
It's amazing how many beginner "actors" get offended when I tell them to get in acting classes. To be honest, acting classes are for actors of all levels up to lead characters and famous actors as well. So no, you're not too good for acting classes, none of you are.

I can tell 100% in your submission by your headshots, your resume, the words you use in your email, your questions to me (which I always encourage), your attitude (ego) towards learning the industry how new you are. I don't understand it, everyone has to start at the beginning right?

I get it- you think you are a natural born actor, and you just might be! However you need to learn how to use those acting skills, How to do a fantastic audition and how to navigate the industry. You see in class there is more to the discussion then just the acting part, you'll learn much much for inside information you do not know by just chatting with other actors and your coach in class. It's like in sports when they say "you 'll learn much more in the locker room from your coach then just how to play the game".
If your ego prohibits you from learning how to act from an industry professional then this industry just isn't for you.
Here are just a few immediate things that say you are new to acting:

-putting bg/ extra work on your acting resume
-no professional headshots
-Generic headshots with a simple t-shirt and still think there's a commercial headshot (smile) and a theatrical headshot(non-smile)
-your reel footage is you filming on your phone the video of your movie you saw on tv.
-Your audition is shot vertical on your phone.
-your audition backdrop is a curtain or door
-you have no auditions to show
These are all things we can help you with and refer coaches to get you going!
