Celebrating 80 years ✅

In the 1980s, Jordan Pile Driving purchased a two-person submarine. It was originally built at Three Mile Creek from a WWII troop transporter’s water tanks. D.R. bought it to make a cool sign for our Telegraph Road location, but the extreme weight of it prohibited that endeavor.
It was painted yellow in honor of The Beatles’ 1960s hit album and movie, Yellow Submarine, and still sits in the same spot - on the ground - marking our location on Telegraph Road.

Don and D.R. accepting the Alabama Road Builders Hall of Fame award for H.C. Jordan in 2004. D.R. also received this award in 2021.

Our 2nd location - a pop-up office in Destin in the early 70’s.

During that time, JPD drove the piling for over 20 beach condos and buildings between Panama City Beach and Gulf Shores.
