Mobile Opera

Honoree Spotlight: Scott Wright is a singer, conductor, composer, actor, patron, and arts advocate. He currently serves as general and artistic director of Mobile Opera and is general director emeritus of the International Performing Arts Institute in Bavaria, Germany. He has performed in numerous operas, operettas, and musical theatre productions, and has worked as a music director, conductor, and composer.

Scott is the recipient of the 2026 Jonnie Dee Riley Little Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his lifetime of energy, service, and contributions to the arts.
