Remember, meditation is a skill that takes time and practice to develop. Don't be hard on yourself if your mind wanders during your practice. Just gently bring your attention back to your breath. Happy meditating! 🙏
Tip #3 - Be patient and gentle with yourself 💚

Yes!! Our minds need rest just like our bodies do.
Here's something you can do today to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and have a moment of 'rest and digest' :
Sit or lay comfortably, with your eyes closed, for 5-10 mins - during that time don't strive for anything....
Just focus on one thing - your breath, your body or a sound (like a fan or ticking clock)
That's it! Don't fight your thoughts if they race, just notice them and return your focus to whatever you've chosen.
After your time is up slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and have a big stretch. Then, honor yourself for taking this time to be still and quiet
