From overgrown and underused to clean, open, and purpose-driven, we completed land clearing and forestry mulching on the bottom of a ridge that stayed wet and difficult to access. We worked during ideal dry conditions, selectively thinning while preserving mature hardwoods, and responsibly managed debris on site with a controlled burn pit.

The goal was to open the view from the back porch so the owners could enjoy the hardwoods and wildlife, while also improving the property’s overall functionality. With a deer field at the top of the hill overlooking the timber, the space now works for both everyday enjoyment and hunting use. 🌳🦌

From standing water to a fully functional lay down yard 👏

Godwin Land Solutions transformed this 5-acre property with complete clearing, site work, drainage, grading, and erosion control to create a usable, year-round space. Before we started, the property was holding water throughout the entire site.

To get the job done right, we brought in over 200 loads of dirt and 60 loads of gravel, while also installing drainage culverts and ditches to ensure proper water flow and long-term drainage.
