Via ACLU, Florida: A federal appeals court has ruled that key parts of Florida's classroom censorship law are unconstitutional, finding that the government cannot prohibit public university professors from discussing certain ideas about race and gender simply because those viewpoints are unpopular. The court held that the First Amendment protects the free exchange of ideas in higher education.
