Today, one of the founding providers at Village Therapy Collective officially closed her office door for the last time as she prepares to move out of Mobile next week.

To know Shelby Bristow is to love her. She’s loyal & compassionate; she loves diving deep & isn’t afraid of the hard stuff. She’s a skilled clinician — I mean I met her when she was a baby therapist & was immediately impressed by her skillful theoretical applications. She’s a gift to her clients & her friends alike.

This field can be hard & heavy, and private practice can feel lonely at times. But through so many seasons, Shelby has been there — our offices have been next door to one another for almost 5 years. This transition will be a tough one, but we are SO proud of Shelby making her goals happen! Birmingham is sooo lucky to have her 🤩
