Dear Patients,

As of March 18, 2020 the Alabama Department of Public Health along with the American Dental Association sent guidelines to dental practices limiting practices to emergency procedures only. This is best defined as infections of dental origin, broken teeth that are causing pain or temporary crowns that are off.

Our office is complying with the guidelines set by those agencies which are to be reevaluated on April 10th. Since dentists nor their staff can work from home, we will be available on a limited basis for emergency care. We can be reached at 251-343-1559 for any emergency calls or questions. We will be back up and running as soon as it is safe to do so. Any of you that had appointments scheduled during this period will be contacted. I would respectfully request that you limit who you bring with you to your appointments for the foreseeable future once we are back operational.

Our practice has always and will continue to adhere to the strictest measures of infection control. My excellent and long-tenured staff - Rachel, Belinda, Emi and Carol - spends time each year attending continuing education courses related to infection control. Our commitment to properly schedule and allow sufficient time for each patient has always included time to diligently prepare and disinfect each room between patients. You likely notice there is never a crowd in my ample reception area. That is a result of a coordinated effort by my entire team to run our office in an efficient manner without overscheduling.

I cannot thank all of you enough for your support for the past 25 years. I am proud of the practice we have built and the way we serve our patients. Stay well and we will see you on the other side of this unprecedented time.
