Burns Street Center then and now. This space was a shipping warehouse, and now it’s our office and home to the Western Montana Growers Co-op, Soft Landing’s United We Eat program, and Burns Catering. We’re visioning more ways for this space to serve the community…more to come on that in months to come. 😉

Congratulations to one of our newest homeowners, Lynette!
As a single mom, Lynette says she's extra proud to become a homeowner.
Lynette was born and raised in Missoula and works at the University of Montana.
She was tired of renting and was looking for a permanent home for her 10-year-old daughter and their cat, Chrysty. Last winter, she saw a social media post about a Community Land Trust home for sale.
"I saw that it was available and so I applied the same day I saw it," she says.
Earlier this spring, her family settled in and now she's picking out paint colors - teal, blue, magenta rose, whatever they want.
“Now that I have my own place, we can make this whatever we want it to be. And make it homey and make it safe for us.”
Lynette says she's already meeting friendly neighbors. Welcome, Lynette!
