Update:

I find myself in this weird gray area. The pictures definitely don't do it any justice... the bones are healed. However, due to non movement a lot of the muscles have atrophied.

I am currently weaning off the boot and have been given permission to do some things in a my limited capacity. I have a lifting restriction of 15lbs. I can also only stand for about 2hrs at a time give or take.

I am slowly sending out messages and getting some stuff scheduled. I will need quite a bit of help, so I do have an assistant I can bring or I can rely on each of you. I will ask you when I reach out.

I can only work 4hr days. So I will only be able to do very few dogs a week. I appreciate your continued patience as I work my way back to 100%.

So be on the look out for messages to start coming in, in the order of the missed appts.

Got the stitches out and the splint off today! So exciting! 🙃 still non weight bearing-4 weeks.

Sounds like this is going to take longer than I thought. Not to worry though, I'm formulating a plan, possibly someone to carry my gear and stuff... if you guys are interested?
