Buckner Rio Grande Valley

During the month of May, Nikki Rowe High School Student Council collected items to create care gift bags for our foster families. In addition, they also donated backpacks full of gift items for the children in our care. It is always heartwarming when our community supports and appreciates our foster families.

May is a time to celebrate graduation! Buckner Family Hope Center Penitas held a graduation ceremony for our Faith and Finance and Nurturing Parenting course graduates. These core classes were taught in collaboration with STCH Ministries and Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas-Salud.

Our Buckner Family Hope Center in Penitas recognized and celebrated our moms, with our program participants enjoying fellowship, games, a coffee bar, and food. Buckner recognizes the important role that mothers play in our daily lives. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our moms!
