Computer slowing down, freezing up, or downright turning off? Computers are similar to cars and must be maintained! Your computer's processor, the brain, gets hot during use and has a CPU cooler to keep that regulated. Without the proper airflow and cooling, issues may manifest in wildly different ways. Your standard home vacuum is NOT safe to clean this though! Make sure you use a specialized vacuum or compressed air, like we do. Ensure that the device is off, preferably disconnected from power, and that you hold the fans steady when cleaning as not to cause damage to the fans or the other devices on the system! The pictures below are the difference between an unreliable desktop and one that can run all day without any thermal concerns.

The lightning storm claimed many victims! This is just one customer that unfortunately lost their computer a couple nights ago. We set them up with a new I3 10th gen processor on a Gigabyte Mini-ITX motherboard with built-in WIFI! These mini builds are challenging to get wired up to look clean and perform smoothly, even if you can't see it with the cover on! We were able to get the customers Windows install working on the new hardware, including programs and data! Not all was lost.
