One of the best ways to develop a stable, reliable dog is through exposure to the real world. Busy parking lots, hardware stores, outdoor restaurants, elevators, shopping centers, traffic, crowds, and unfamiliar environments all provide valuable learning opportunities.

Just remember: socialization does not mean allowing everyone to pet your dog.

Socialization means exposure. The goal is to teach your dog to remain confident, neutral, and composed regardless of the environment around them.
