First and foremost, thank you to my family. Your support means the world to me. Campaigns are tough, and often even harder on our loved ones than on the candidates themselves. I couldn’t have done this without you.

To everyone who voted for me and supported me throughout this campaign, thank you. Your encouragement has meant everything. And hey, maybe all I need is a few more gray hairs like Mark to be mayor someday. I’ll take it.

My #1 reason for running was to ensure that true transparency, not just the buzzword version, had a voice in this race. I believe we succeeded in doing that.

With that said, I truly believe the people of Minot got this one right. I couldn’t be happier for Mark Jantzer and the opportunity he now has to lead our city forward. For the next year and hopefully beyond.

My time as an alderman isn’t over. Minot, you’ve got me for one more year and I remain committed to bringing forward thoughtful ideas and effective policy that move our community in the right direction. Minot is in a good place, despite the negativity we sometimes see, and I truly believe our best days are ahead.

He’d remove barriers to building and development. Because in Minot, too many projects get stuck in delays, red tape, and rising costs.

It stifles innovation, limits housing supply, and makes it harder for young families or first time buyers to plant roots here.

As a council member, he’s already pushing for a Land Development Committee to identify what’s getting in the way and fix it.

Paul Pitner believes the answer lies in doing more with what we have and growing our economy. That means making city services more efficient and encouraging smart development so more people share the tax burden without raising rates just to keep up.

Paul Pitner is focused on ending the cycle of short-term thinking. He believes Minot needs steady, forward-focused leadership that invests in infrastructure, safety, and smart planning now so the next generation can thrive, not struggle.
