Here is some excellent information and advice from our environmental quality and health units!

Something else I would like to point out is how many times I have seen playground equipment built on or around septic tanks and lift stations. ***Please remember these systems don’t last forever and septic tanks do cave in or collapse from deterioration after many years***

We are in the second generation of septic tanks going in the ground as the older ones are decaying and collapsing from 30 to 60 years old.

Please keep children away from these areas as much as possible 🙏🏻
