One of the coolest things as a racing parent is seeing your kids truly grasp a concept you’ve been teaching for a while. I introduced top end racing to Sydnee a little bit last season. But I have really been trying to drive it in this season. This is how today went:

1st round: Gets a decent light, whomps a couple times and goes dead on! (8.98)
2nd round: Lays down a good light, gets passed and whomps to run 8.98 on an 8.95
3rd round: Bye into the final with her .021 in 2nd
Final round: Not a great light, but still looking over and whomping to stay a squeak ahead for the W!

About last weekend. It was awesome!! 3 races, 3 winners circles!
~Jackpot race on Saturday…Racelyn lost in the final and got runner up.
~Points race on Saturday…Racelyn sealed the deal with a PERFECT reaction time in the final!!!
~Points racing Sunday…Sydnee won while running dead on her dial with a .032 pack!!

I think the best thing about being a mom who races is seeing your kids have the same passion for it and doing better than you ever did. Let’s go girls! 🏁❤️

Come check out Racelyn’s updated paint job (and rims 😉) this weekend in Minot! Racing all day Saturday and Sunday morning to early afternoon.

First race of the season and Sydnee put her on the dance floor here at Magic City International Dragway! 🏁🥇 this girl got a bye into the semis with a .004 light! She did a great job driving the stripe and staying calm.
