Annnnnnnnnd that's a wrap on PLAY comp cheer tryouts for the 2026-27 season!

We're all in this together -- It takes a village, and this season the board, coaches, gophers, laker varsity cheerleaders, PLAY exec board and administrators, schedulers, custodians, middle school and elementary school admins, local online newspapers and community ed all came together to support our athletes and grow the cheer program into all we know it can be.

I can't tell you how many people have said to me before, "I didn't even know prior lake had a youth competition cheer program."

We walked in as a brand new board, relatively clueless - but we answered the call, and we said yes - and signed on for year two. We've made some changes and things just keep on getting better!
