I made this rainbow journal during a time when my life was kind of a mess.
I couldn’t change everything that was happening, but I could create something colorful.
Sometimes we don’t create because life is beautiful. Sometimes we create beautiful things because life isn’t.
So I gave myself something bright to hold onto while I found my footing again. 🌈
This is why handmade is special ❤️
There are cards that come together easily…
…and then there are the ones that make you hold your breath until the very last step.
This was definitely the second kind. 💛
The reveal mechanism was inspired by , and seeing the color appear through the acetate made all the work worthwhile.
Every time I walk into a craft store, another paper pack follows me home looking for a forever craft room.
Please tell me I’m not the only one. 😂
