There’s something about this time of year that feels full of possibility. The light shifts. The air softens. The excitement builds.

And behind the scenes, the pace picks up in the very best way.

Timelines are finalized. Details come to life. Vendor teams come together.

It’s the season where months (and sometimes years) of planning turn into real moments, real memories, and celebrations that feel exactly like our couples dreamed.

I may still not have gathered my complete thoughts on ILEA Star Awards 2026 but as we stare down the kick off of busy season this weekend, I have to shout out my absolutely incredible team.

My girls who jump into every single situation eager to make sure our clients have the best days, who know I need reminders to drink water, a dinner diet coke, and to sit down at some point before breakdown begins at the end of the night. They scream sing with me to whatever late night jams are going down on the dance floor, and shoot looks across the ballroom when a certain lead singer really hits things just right (who knew Shout could sound sexy right Ash?!). They remind me that I have hand picked the best team for the job and have taught them to handle every insane wedding weekend with grace and confidence. I would not say that I am a great leader, because let's be serious...we all know I struggle to give up control, but luckily these girls will simply handle things before I even get a chance because they know me that well. They make me laugh until I cry more times than I can count, they bring the most beautiful light and joy to days and weekends that can be heavy and stressful. Haley who isn't pictured who covers me behind the scenes and is willing to jump in for whatever support I need with our ATE CCO in tow (Stella Rey our Chief Cuteness Officer). I'm truly blessed beyond measure.

In a season of my life that could be so dark, they inspire me to keep going and that goals I would have thought were entirely unattainable a year or two ago, are beyond possible regardless of what has come my way this year. They give me so much joy and hope and the ability to see the stars so close, that once seemed entirely out of reach.

And we are coming for them. ✨ Alright 2026, let's do the damn thing. ✨
