The ride will be a no-drop, family friendly, chill pace, with everyone welcome! Yess Yoga is a longtime sponsor of Team Recess, and they have the most amazing studio, instructors, and vibe. We can’t wait to introduce you if you’ve never been! We’ll take the Yin class together from 6-7 and then head back to Farmstead along the same route. Don’t forget to bring your lights and a lock! Yess Yoga will have yoga mats available for use.

A note on the yoga class: You’ll need to register for the class through Yess Yoga before the ride. Registration happens on their website. Yess’ drop-in rate is $20/class, and they also offer new student rates and multi-class packages. Contact Yess for more information.

About Yin- This practice goes deep into our bodies and concerns itself with connective tissue, joint health, and the immune system. Yin is great for those who have stress or anxiety, want to increase flexibility, or desire time and space to drop into meditation. It is the practice of going inward into stillness and quietness to see what lies beyond muscle engagement and the busy chatter of the mind. Yin draws from traditional Chinese medicine in its approach to movement and energy, and it involves longer holds of 1-10 minutes. We use props—blankets, bolsters, and blocks—so you can be supported as you release tension. This practice is open to all people.
