Little Free Library was built around the belief that everyone deserves access to books. Today there are more than 150,000 Little Free Libraries in 112 countries and on all seven continents. LFL has grown significantly since its founding and is now poised to make an impact at a whole new level. The team and national Board have declared a bold and achievable goal: to place and sustain a book-sharing box in every book desert in the country over the next three years. Bolstering staff capacity in fundraising and volunteer coordination was identified as a critical strategy, resulting in the creation of a key new leadership role within the organization.
