From the SLAMMY⛓️ to my very first GRAMMY! 🏆

Without question, I have to thank my Mom the most right now 🦋

When I was in prison you bought me my piano 🎹 off of commissary in 2009 & I used it for the next 5 years to teach myself music theory & how to read sheet music. & then Pappa Bear 🧸 bought me a radio 📻 with some of his tip money💸 & it open up all the music in the world directly to my ears🎧

Then McNally Smith College of Music denied me twice because of my criminal background. & you drove to St. Paul with my Dad 🐦‍🔥 & you fought for my appeal & Matt Edlund had our back 🙏🏼

While I was at MSCM I met Caleb & he was the 1st student to give me a shot. Then I started working with Hailey - & she taught me HD quality music theory & Ear Training 🎧😌 - then you taught me a new time signature 6/8 💡
Then I met Josiah in class 1 day. 📚You would become my Brother; my BroSiah🙏🏼
Then Jakob died from cancer😔
You, Hailey, & I started working on what would become our very first Music Therapy session🧘 After, we got together with several students at our private art school - & through empathy & collaboration - we all wrote what would become "(Running Away) Home" 🦋: a true Magnum Opus created from students at MSCM 🙌🏼

I wish I could thank more people here; however, Instagram is telling me "I'm running out of characters to type lol 🙄

But I want to quick thank : bro, you fought for me to get credited on this track when AJ was more than fine with me not being credited & actually, it turns out he was trying to prevent me from being credited. I appreciate that you did that for me. You didn't have to. You produced one hell of a Grammy winning record! 🏆
& you did a hell of a job mixing this!🎚️🎛️

And obviously Lecrae & Tasha Cobbs Leonard for such a beautiful song 🙏🏼🎶
