Mam is 80 years old and has lived at her downtown Minneapolis Aeon home since 1993. Last year, she needed a part-time job, but had no computer, no email, and no resume.
Her Resident Connections coordinator, Buddy, spent eight months walking alongside her: setting up email, writing her resume from scratch, attending job fairs, sitting in on interviews. After months of rejections, Mam landed a position at Target Field. One bus ride from home.
"He is the reason I am where I am today," she said.
This is what Resident Connections looks like in practice.

Nearly one in four renter households in the United States is considered extremely low-income. Yet affordable housing options remain far too limited.
Expanding affordable housing means creating more opportunities for families, seniors, workers, and individuals to stay connected to the communities they call home.
