Minnesota Debate

So begins the 2023-2024 debate season! Good luck to Minnesota JPF (Johnson and Phoenix-Flood) and Minnesota DP (Davis and Parrish) at the northwestern season opener this weekend!

Today is an exciting day because it marks the 1st day of the 77th National Debate Tournament where the University of Minnesota has the pleasure of being represented by 3 teams: Minnesota JPF (Johnson and Phoenix-Flood), Minnesota PP (Parrish and Prost), and Minnesota AK (Anderson McElligott and Kivimaki, able to sneak in through the second round process). Congrats to all teams and excited for some great upcoming debates! Go Gophers!

After a long hard fought weekend at the D4 District Qualifier, we had both teams qualify to the NDT. Congrats to Minnesota JPF (Johnson and Phoenix-Flood) and Minnesota PP (Parris and Prost) for qualifying! Shout out to Macalester and University of Iowa for some hard fought debates. Go Gophers!
