As National Park and Recreation Month continues, we're highlighting a few of our favorite park systems across our Illinois territories! 🌳☀️

📍 Decatur Park District
With 32 neighborhood parks, 4 community parks and nature areas, and 64 total locations, the Decatur Park District manages more than 2,000 acres of parkland and offers a wide range of recreational, cultural, and sports opportunities for the community.

📍 Springfield Park District
Home to 36 parks spanning more than 2,500 acres, the Springfield Park District provides expansive green spaces and outdoor recreation for residents and visitors alike.

📍 City of Alton Parks & Recreation
Alton's park system includes 16 parks covering more than 1,400 acres, featuring 12 ball fields, 19 soccer fields, 14 tennis courts, and 19 playgrounds for all ages to enjoy.
