Thankful for the family and friends that came and helped Christmas Day as we fed Christmas dinner at Metro Hope Rehab.

It truly was a joyful time of food and fellowship celebrating Jesus!

Special thanks to John and Jackie Matthews, Scarlett Thread Ministries, for their donation of books that we were able to wrap and hand out as Christmas presents to the guys.

Years ago, I worked at a place called Midwest Challenge, working with men coming out of prison as well as men with substance abuse. The person who helped train me in was Judith Farrier. As we worked together there was a spiritual bond that continued until her passing.

Judith became a part of Forerunner Ministries as a person of prayer as we were on the streets and in home meetings. Even as she got older and in assisted living, we would meet and worship and pray together.

At one meeting, after we were done singing, there was a knock on her door. The woman outside the door said she had heard the singing and was drawn to it and wanted to find out what it was all about. We ended up at her apartment, praying for her and her father.

Judith has passed on to be with the Lord. She loved God and served him faithfully in the city. She prayed fervently for her family, friends, for those around her, and the church around the world. Her example of a life of prayer speaks to the call of prayer for this hour, for this lost generation, and for the church. Jesus said in Luke 21:34-35, “to watch and pray”.

It was great to be with Pastor Destaye (Every Tongue and Tribe) for a Sunday morning outdoor service at Elliott Park, downtown Minneapolis.

To our friends in Northern Minnesota… we will be ministering Saturday evening, June 14 and Sunday morning, June 15 at Northern Lights Freedom and Life in Richwood, MN. Would love to see you!
