Bonus Tech Tip!
Ezra shows how to adjust the sensitivity on a Diffused Beam Sensor.
These sensors can be tricky because unlike most sensors they will detect any object within range, even if it is stationary. Essentially they depend on the reflective qualities of most objects to bounce the infrared beam they emit back to the sensor, so that can be a ceiling, wall or any other object. That’s why these sensors typically have shorter sensing distances and why adjusting the sensitivity is vital when using them.
TECH TIP TUESDAY:
New Motorized Co**se Crawler Mech!
Once again we’ve developed a mechanism to make creating a popular Halloween animation easier than ever to do yourself.
In this video we show how to take an Ultra-Poseable Skeleton from Home Depot and install it onto our new Co**se Crawler Mech. It’s a fun build and a great way to create your very own custom take on this popular animatronic.
