Kick toxins to the curb! 💥
When was the last time you change your oil filter in your car🚗
? And what even is an oil filter?
All I know is that my dad and my brothers told me that I need to do that regularly. I’ve learned the hard way that if I don’t then bad things happen to my car. I’m no mechanic👨🔧, and I don’t quite understand how it works. But I do know that’s true. And the same is actually true for detoxing your body.
There are so many misconceptions around detox and there are so many crazy 🤪 detoxes out there that are actually damaging for your body. When you’re doing one of these crazy drink juice detoxes for a hundred days, eating 🍽️nothing but blueberries, all those sorts of crazy detoxes as we see👀 on the market, those can actually be way more damaging and slow down 🐌 your metabolism and make it harder for you to lose weight.
Look for real food.
The first thing you want to look for is you want to make sure it’s a detox program where you’re actually fueling⛽ your body with real whole foods.
Number two: You want to detox that isn’t a long period of time. I think anything between 7 and 10 days is the perfect length of time. ✅
How often should you detox?
You should detox at least once a year, and probably every single quarter.
Now my third detox tip, this is the one thing you want to avoid: If you see any detox that looks scammy and feels scammy, it probably is scammy. 🤔
