When you know, you know. And it can happen to you too – just ask parka owner Beth D.:
"I have found the ONE, finally. I've flirted with others, had many short-term relationships and a few long-term ones that were never exactly right from the beginning: P., L.L.B., C.G, and others. Not warm enough, not light enough, not a soft enough interior, too short, too long, too fluffy (I looked like a puff ball), not enough pockets, zipper but no snaps, and incompatible values (feathers anyone? No concern for climate change impact).
Then I found Askov Finlayson, the perfect parka. It's lightweight, flattering, just the right length with a not too small or too large hood, has an amazingly cushy and soft interior, many pockets in just the right places and different type pockets both inside and out, zipper and snaps, keeps me warm and toasty, AND is made to last, so we'll be together for a long time, probably a lifetime.
I'm in love.”

We teamed up with our friends at Rumpl to create this limited-edition packable puffy blanket – the perfect companion for outdoor winter adventures. The blanket is printed with an original photograph from legendary astrophotographer Paul Zizka, who has been chasing northern lights for more than a decade, and (literally) wrote the book on capturing them in photographs.
Paul recalls the particulars of the shoot that resulted in this photo:
"This image was taken on an absolutely electrifying night in southern Greenland, on the edge of the Greenland ice sheet. After a massive day of travel on foot, we finally pitched the tents at a high point overlooking the ice. It wasn’t even close to dark that the green ribbons were already visible in the twilight. For hours we composed images that included both the aurora borealis and the spectacular landforms around us, but every once in a while, the display would blow up overheard, and I would lie on my back, under my tripod, and point my lens directly towards the skies. This is one image that came out of that incredible night in the Greenlandic wilderness."
