Minneapolis high school students! Check out ’ new RYSE MPLS Summer Media Camp in August! Register for the free 2-week program for students interested in pursuing careers in media production, news reporting, and storytelling. Students will work closely with local media and news professionals and collaborate with peers in small groups to produce video stories that will premiere on the big screen and on TV!

For the past year, BFRESH Productions has been working behind the scenes to build SPEAK MPLS, a community media center, and the new home of Minneapolis public access TV channels 16, 17, and 75 on Comcast!

SPEAK MPLS TV launches on March 31st, and we are giving you a free Broadcaster membership, so you can submit content to air on the channels! It can be new videos, old videos, funny videos, sad videos, cat videos, short films, docs, music videos, Zoom videos- anything on your phone, device, or hard drive that you want the world to see. We've created a super easy process to amplify your voice and speak your truth on TV. While you can be a member and submit from anywhere in the world, our mission is to represent the voices of Minneapolis residents.

We believe sharing our stories and voices to speak up against injustice can change the world. BFRESH Productions donated images to the SLAM special issue amplifying stories of racial inequities and fighting for social justice through the experience of the basketball community. Guest edited by Carmelo Anthony, he says he is “Drawing strength from the past. Fighting for justice in the present. Demanding equality for the future.”

100% of the proceeds will be donated to charities supporting issues impacting the Black community.
