Save the Date - It's almost time for Art Attack 2025! Our community comes together and opens up their workspaces for our fall studio tour - with almost 150 studios participating, that's over 400 local Minnesota artists under one roof, working in every medium imaginable.

Oil paintings, watercolors, encaustic works, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, glass and metal works - meet our artists and learn all about their creative process! With demos, workshops, live art, and food trucks, it's our favorite event of the year and are so excited to share it all with you. It's the Northrup King Building's largest open studio event - Don't miss it!

The BIG WEEKEND is almost here! Come celebrate 30 years of Art-A-Whirl® at the historic Northrup King Building in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Visit us at Gallery Aurora 179 and see new works from all of our artists! Then explore 4 floors of artist & maker studios, take part in activities and watch creators at work. Food trucks, treats, music and more all weekend long. And see our friends at other artist locations through out the district. It’s time to Whirl!!!

T H I S - S A T U R D A Y ! Come make a day of it at the all new Summer Sizzle at the Northrup King Building this Saturday. Come by the Gallery Aurora & Lens Prose Studio 179 to see new works by Brian Billadeau, Cynthia Fleury, John A Olson, Sanjukta Mitra, William Drew, Risa Tritabaugh, Lake Paintings, Tom Fletcher Moons, Dan Weinand, Gallery Equus eposé, and more! There will be ice cream treats from 9-YUM-YUM Ice Cream Ambulance, PF Cafe serving up a special Summer Sizzle menu, and Blackberry Bakery with scrumptious goodies.
