Our Korean Community Summer Market is just 5 days away! Get ready to enjoy delicious treats from another wonderful vendor joining us: .croffle.corner 🧇

The Croffle Corner started as a way to share a Korean-inspired treat with the local community. As a Korean American-owned business, Jean and Eunchong love bringing their croffles to farmers' markets, festivals, and community events where people may not usually seek out Asian food or visit Korean spaces. In a small way, we hope to be ambassadors, introducing Korean flavors in a fun and approachable way. Some of their most meaningful moments happen when customers share that someone in their family was adopted from Korea or that they feel a personal connection to Korean culture. Those conversations remind them that food can be more than something we eat; it can create connection, curiosity, and belonging.

We’re officially just 7 days away from the Korean Community Summer Market! We are honored to share this next vendor: ! 🇰🇷❤️

Hanok Korean Eatery is a family-owned business founded by Jayden and his family after moving to Minnesota from Korea. They started Hanok to share the food they grew up eating and introduce more people to Korean culture through food. Today, their family works together to prepare traditional Korean dishes, weekly meal deliveries, catering orders, and community pop-up events. As first-generation Korean immigrants, they take pride in preserving the flavors, traditions, and hospitality that shaped them. Through Hanok, they hope to create meaningful connections, bring people together around the table, and share a taste of Korea with our local community.

Emily started Bb.q Chicken in Minnesota after reuniting with her biological mom. Bb.q was their reunion dinner in Seoul, South Korea. Food played an integral part in reconnecting. Emily is a Korean Adoptee and franchise owner for Bb.q Korean Fried Chicken locations (Eden Prairie, Uptown Minneapolis, and St. Paul).

Join AK Connection for a summer community market spotlighting Korean adoptee and Korean American artists, makers, small businesses, and food vendors. Hosted outdoors at Arbeiter Brewing Company, this pop-up market is a chance to connect and build community together ahead of our upcoming harvest moon celebration and market in late September.
