Every week, our youth have the opportunity to ask questions, share their perspectives, challenge ideas, and learn from mentors who genuinely care about who they're becoming.

At Build Wealth MN, we're not just teaching financial literacy, we're helping young people build confidence, character, leadership, and life skills that will serve them long after the program ends.

That was one of the first questions we explored during Week 1 of SHE Builds & HE Builds.

Our youth created Identity Maps to reflect on:
💭 Their interests
💪 Their strengths
🎯 Their goals
❤️ What matters most to them

Each participant also received a personal journal that they'll use after every class to reflect on what they've learned, track their growth, and look back on how far they've come by the end of the summer.

Before we teach budgeting, careers, investing, and financial literacy, we believe it's important for young people to first understand themselves.
