At Tech High School in St. Cloud, MN, BARR is helping educators create intentional time for collaboration, relationship-building, and proactive student support.

As one Tech BARR teacher shared:

“The BARR program is student-focused time built into the school day that teachers normally don't have. BARR has increased my collaboration with colleagues and helps me deal with students more effectively.”

Using data gathered through the BARR process, the school introduced “Future Leaders,” a targeted intervention course designed to support approximately one-fourth of incoming freshmen.

The course helps students build:
- Academic skills
- Social skills
- Positive habits
- Stronger connections to school and peers

This is the power of relationships and data: schools can identify needs early and create systems that help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
