Congratulations to National Student of the Month, Jacob Bourland from Vista Ridge High School in Colorado! ✨
His nominator wrote: "He represents the rare intersection of academic rigor, athletic discipline, and an unparalleled gift for community building. His influence on our school culture this year has been nothing short of transformative, moving the needle on student engagement through his roles in Student Council, athletics, and the performing arts. The most visible evidence of Jacob’s impact is found at our quarterly pep rallies. Since taking the microphone, he has effectively revitalized these events, leading to a 150% increase in student engagement and morale. He possesses a natural charisma that captivates the entire student body, turning routine assemblies into high-energy celebrations of our school identity. Jacob leads by example across diverse platforms. In Student Council, he serves as a strategic voice for the student body, helping plan and execute initiatives that improve our daily campus life. As a leader on the football team, he demonstrated the grit and teamwork necessary to inspire his peers during the high-pressure fall season. Lastly, as a key member of the Show Choir, he balances the technical demands of performance with the same passion he brings to the field"

Let's recognize our last Staffulty of the Month of the school year, Krista Martin from Fort Dorchester High School in South Carolina!
We asked teacher's all over the country what accomplishment they are most proud of for this past school year, and she told us: "Personally, I set three main goals for myself. First, I ensured that each month we participated in the monthly challenge. This allowed not only our students but also our teachers to become more involved in our activities. My second goal was to introduce a “Jostens Staffulty Member of the Month” program at our school. While simple in concept, this initiative had a meaningful impact. Each month, staff members vote and I compile the positive feedback shared about colleagues, print the notes, and deliver them to the teacher. This has brought a great deal of joy to our school community. Lastly, my final goal was to submit an application for Jostens Renaissance School of Distinction. When we attended JRGC last year, I knew very little about this recognition, but I made it a goal to apply. I am proud to say that I accomplished all three of the goals I set for myself. Going through the application process highlighted the many great things our school is doing. I am incredibly proud to be a teacher at Fort Dorchester High School."
