The Rad Mini Library is approaching its four year anniversary in June, and looking back, I am amazed by the evolution of this project, really driven by neighbors.

In the tradition of justice and liberation movement libraries, I wanted the library to focus on those topics, but be totally accessible - no obligation to bring back books, and anyone can take them. It started with a handful of my books*, and now 500 books (mostly mine...yikes, so that's where my paycheck is going!) and zines later, I still hear from neighbors "This is my favorite little library!"

As long as we're still fighting for justice and liberation, we need books and zines to help us learn and to remember. Here's to another 500 books from The Rad Mini Library!

*the first books:
- A Country of Ghosts by Margaret Killjoy
- There's a Revolution Outside, My Love edited by John Freeman, Tracy K. Smith
- The Nation on No Map by William C. Anderson
- A Practical Guide to Stop Interpersonal Violence edited by Creative Interventions
- A Life for Anarchy: A Stuart Christie Reader
- Beyond Survival: Strategies and Stories from the Transformative Justice Movement. Ejeris Dixon (Editor); Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha (Editor)
