"I have six kids so I had to just keep fighting and never giving up, so every time I thought about giving up I just thought of my kids, I can’t give up." -freed GNIP client Javon Davis

This Father’s Day, we honor the strength and resilience of dads like Javon, who never stopped fighting for their families. GNIP is honored to play a role in reuniting fathers with their loved ones 💙

To the dads still separated from their children due to wrongful convictions: we see your strength, your hope, and your love. Every day, incarcerated dads, children of incarcerated fathers, and fathers of incarcerated kids keep up the fight for freedom. You are not forgotten. You are not alone.

Join us in celebrating the unwavering love and determination of these fathers. Happy Father's Day to our GNIP community!

Join the Great North Innocence Project in honoring and celebrating , marking the ending of slavery in the United States.

Today, we also reflect on the troubling, persistent reality that Black Americans are disproportionately represented in our country's criminal justice system, including amongst those who have been wrongfully convicted. Today and every day, the fight for freedom continues.
