Sobriety Sunday’s is a pilot project initiated to shed light on stories of recovery throughout the Muslim community. On this episode Abdirahman meets with some of his colleagues from the recovery community, Yussuf, Maymuna and Fardowsa to interview them on their experiences working within the East African community through Alliance Wellness Center. Alliance Wellness Center, owned by Yussuf Shafie, is a culturally specific intensive outpatient treatment center providing addiction treatment to the East African Community.
